The School of Health Professions provides something for everyone interested in health and care-related professions through its range of contemporary MSc courses for professionals who wish to advance their practice and career progression. The Advanced Professional Practice suite of programmes offers opportunities to undertake an award in Neurological Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy amongst others. Our Masters in clinical Research MClinRes develops skills and knowledge in this area.
MSc Neurological Rehabilitation enables students to advance thier neurological rehabilitation practice. The pathophysiology of neurological conditions, their clinical assessment and management are explored and students apply knowledge and skills to thier individual area. Students gain critical skills in using evidence, developing services and research and applying this to their area of neurological practice. MSc APP Neurological Rehabilitation is open to all members of the interprofessional team. Students benefit from the school`s fantastic facilities, which include skills and research laboratories, research-informed teaching, skills session with service users and teaching delivered by highly experienced academic staff.
