Dr. Joseph Moreira

Neuro Alert Monitoring Services

Dr. Moreira has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at Cornell Medical Center, New York Medical College and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and has served as the director of both the Electromyography lab and Intraoperative Neurophysiology service at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He has been Medical Director and Clinical supervisor of various Departments and Intraoperative monitoring practices. He has expertise in evaluating and treating disorders of the spine and neuromuscular system and has performed IONM services for over thousands of surgeries both on-site and as a remote supervising physician.

Dr. Moreira is the current President Elect of the American Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring.
