A Client’s Journey Through Rehabilitation

Anne and Riffat are partners in the Personal Injury Team who together have over 40 years’ experience of dealing with serious injury claims, including complex brain injuries.

Anne and Riffat will give an over view of The Rehabilitation Code 2015 which is an approved framework within which the representatives of the injured person and the compensators (the insurance company) can work together for the best outcome for the injured person. The objective is to ensure that the injured person receives early and appropriate rehab to restore their quality of life as soon as possible.

This requires a collaborative approach rather than adversarial with the insurance company. A case manager will be instrumental in liaising with treating experts, clinicians and educational experts to put together a bespoke rehab package targeted for the injured person to look at the best social, medical, educational psychological and vocational recovery.
