Dr Adrian Attard Trevisan

Founder and Chief Scientific Officer
Expert Neuroscientist, Dr Adrian Attard Trevisan is founder and chief
scientific officer of Neurotech International, a public company listed
on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
He holds a Doctorate in the field of Neurosciences & Human Physiology and training in Engineering and Audiological Sciences.
He has worked on international research projects in England and France and has lectured on the University of London programmes, as well as giving guest lectures and presentations at the University of Malta, Oxford University, University of London and the Università degli Studi di Milano. He was recently appointed as Research Fellow at the Bedfordshire Center for Mental Health Research in Association with the University of Cambridge.
Adrian has conducted research within the field of neurophysiology and electrophysiology for a number of years. He has benefited from a number of research grants and was awarded an innovation prize by the World Intellectual Property Organization . He has formed part of research projects under the European Union’s 6th and 7th frameworks.
Real time EEG driven therapies are considered to be an easy, yet effective way forward in the world of “personalized stimulation”. The term “EEG slowing” derives from the ability to monitor and modulate slow brain wave activities. This is characterized by enhanced amplitudes of delta and theta waves over the other EEG frequencies and by a consistent alpha suppression. A kind of EEG pattern also found in a number of conditions like attention deficit disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder as well as in autism spectrum disorders.
