Dr Jorgen Sandell, PhD.
Dr Jorgen Sandell, PhD, is a qualified physiotherapist and chiropractor in Sweden and a former lecturer in neuro-biology at the University Medical School, Stockholm. He co-developed the methodology of sub-threshold sensory electro-stimulation used in the Mollii Suit and educates clinicians in its use internationally.
Reaching the Nervous System’s Own Tools to Alleviate Movement Disabilities
Understanding how mild, sensory electro-stimulation prompts the nervous system to alleviate motor function disorders itself, relieving spasticities, enabling improved range of movement, voluntary movements and re-learning. For adults and children with cerebral palsy, stroke, brain and spinal injury, multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions. The seminar will explain the neurophysiology and independent research in this technology from Sweden : The Inerventions Method as used in the Mollii Suit.
