The Clinical Guidelines for the use of a dropped foot stimulator to aid walking were developed using the Delphi research process with national and international participation. The Guidelines were published in 2022 with the support and partnership of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Neurology (ACPIN). This session will explain the process for the Guideline development and the importance of its use for consistent, quality clinical delivery of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) to aid walking for neurological patients.
