Who gets your vote for the People’s Choice Award at the NR Times Awards
Voting is now open for the People’s Choice Award at the inaugural NR Times Awards – make your vote count!
The shortlists are now being judged for 11 categories of the NR Times Awards, but this particular award, which recognises the inimitable contribution of one key figure working within neuro-rehab, is chosen by a public vote.
The 13 individuals on our Rehab Leader of the Year shortlist have all excelled in the dedication and commitment they have shown to driving forward positive change within the sector, making a difference both now and for future generations.
Having received many nominations for this category, judges have settled on the final list based on the impact these individuals have made, and continue to make, in supporting people today, and looking to change the outlook for tomorrow.
Sponsored by Breakthrough Case Management, the Rehab Leader of the Year Award will be decided on the public vote alone, which is open until mid-October.
Catrin May, co-founder and director of Breakthrough, said: “As a person-centred company, with years of experience working with some exceptional rehab providers, it makes sense for us to be collectively championing these incredible people and professionals working in the sector.
“This is an opportunity to honour those that have gone the extra mile, demonstrated leadership in the rehabilitation field, made significant contributions to the advancement of rehabilitation services and ultimately improved client outcomes.
“Setting this category apart from the others is the fact that it will be decided by a public vote. As case managers, we advocate daily for the individual, amplifying their voice in their own rehabilitation journey, giving voices to those who may not find it easy to speak up.
“Similarly, we are acutely aware that often it is not the most prominent names or well-known companies and dedicated professionals in the sector who achieve deserved recognition. Some heroes fly under the radar.
“It is our hope that this award will shine a light on some of those striving to provide exceptional rehabilitation services who may not ordinarily be included in an awards event.”
